Tallow
SKIN CONDITIONER
Tallow is known as a skin conditioner. It is rich in oleic acid, palmitic acid, and stearic acid which all help hydrate the skin and the overall appearance. Tallow is full of vitamins and nutrients such as Omega-3s. The fat content is similar to that of human skin and makes for easy absorption.

Extra virgin Olive Oil
SKIN SOFTENER & CLEANSER
Extra Virgin Olive Oil is cold-pressed. It is a perfect moisturizer that helps to moisturize and soften your skin. It is rich in polyphenols, an antioxidant that helps fight damage caused by free radicals and reduces oxidative stress. Olive oil relieves symptoms due to eczema and psoriasis.

Sodium hydroxide (lye)
Creates the Sponification Process
Lye is an essential part of making soap. When we mix oils with lye (sodium hydroxide or potassium hydroxide), a chemical reaction occurs called saponification, and the end product has no traces of lye remaining. Lye is non-allergenic, non-acne promoting, non-irritating, and won’t clog your pores. The process we use creates gentle soaps that won’t dry out or irritate your skin.

sunflower oil
SKIN SOFTENER
Sunflower oil is packed full of essential fatty acids and vitamin E. This antioxidant-packed oil has the ability to fight redness, inflammation, and irritation in the skin. It is lightweight but doesn’t absorb quickly, so it is perfect for dry skin. With a 0-1 rating on the comedogenic rating chart, it is known to not clog your pores.
